Kerim is very approachable, making it a lot easier to learn and ask questions without ever feeling intimidated. I can tell that he truly cares for us and wants our success in this class and in life.
Literally the best professor I have ever had. He cares so much about his students.
His teaching methods worked really well for me in a way that no other professor in my time here at A&M has. I can tell he actually puts effort into his class materials, and he makes class engaging and interesting. He does not just read off the slides like a typical professor here.
I appreciated how engaged he was in class, and how he took the time to learn the student’s names and make us feel included. I also enjoy the style of learning, we do examples very similar to what is on the exam, and he takes the time to answer any questions that we may have along the way. Thank you Prof. Kerim!!
I really enjoyed this class and the materials taught ! Everyone warns you about this class but Dr. Kerim was extremly amazing and I would take him again for every class if I could ! All classes were very organized and material was extremly organized and very easily accesible. He was always very accomadating to his students and our needs and wants over the semester! Overall amazing proffesor one of the best ones I have had at Texas A&M
Professor Kerim made BUSN 203 pretty easy to follow and stay on top of. The class was organized well, and I always knew what was expected, which I appreciated because it made everything less stressful. I liked that the material wasn’t just taught in a boring way it actually connected to real business situations, so it felt more useful and not just something to memorize for exams. The examples in class helped a lot with understanding the concepts. They were also really approachable and willing to help when needed, which made a difference. I felt comfortable asking questions and didn’t feel lost most of the time. If I had to suggest anything, maybe a little more guidance before exams or extra practice would help. But overall, it was a solid class and I learned a lot.
Despite basically all of the material being completely new concepts for me to learn, because of Professor Kerims teaching ways and also the atmosphere that he taught in, it was easy to learn and want to learn more! He highly encouraged students doing their work just on their own and if we needed help, to ask him in class or in office hours. It was also easy to find in the notes examples to help find guidance for quizzes or homeworks.
Loved the course overall. Professor Kizil fostered a great learning environment and it was very easy to pay attention in his class. The organization and structure of the class was very appreciated and helpful. He was always willing to talk to you and help you in any way he could rather it be through answering emails in a timely manner or having extra office hours before exams.
Never had a professor that cared so much about his students and their learning. Truly an awesome professor that taught excellently and made the class enjoyable.
Professor Kizil is one of the greatest professors I have ever had. He’s extremely patient, empathetic, and supportive and makes me feel empowered.
He did a very good job with the OneNote and Canvas organization always making sure we had all information to succeed in this course
He was quick to answer emails and gave great explanations when posting answer keys that helped me understand why I missed a question.
Professor Kizil fostered an extremely friendly learning environment. He was extremely patient with students who did not understand concepts and constantly worked outside of class to help them gain a better understanding.
He is a great instructor, best math instructor so far. He is always in a good mood and very cheerful, making the class go by easier.
Kerim is one of the best professors I have had in a long time. He teaches effectively, making sure that each student is understanding the content. The atmosphere in the classroom is extremely welcome and open, as many of my classmates and I were able to ask questions without feeling like an inconvenience. He provides feedback on anything you ask and pushes his students to ask questions through emails and office hours and is extremely willing and able to help.
Great professor never wanted you to feel confused and if you did he made sure that you had the ability to come in and work with him in office hours and get you straightened out. Was extremly flexable with office hours and overall one of the best profs I have had while at TAMU.
